I bid on a similar photo in 2004 but lost the auction when it sold for $355! I never knew my parents had a copy of the photo the whole time in a family photo album. I was thrilled to find it! Mike An interesting fact that Jim related to me is his great-uncle, Lawrence Traube, is in the photo. He is the person sitting on the running board with his left arm on his leg. Thanks for sharing that, Jim!
Photo courtesy of the Wayne State University online archives. This is a Martz family portrait dating to the late 1920's. Clockwise from upper left is Arthur, Alfred, Oscar, Louis, Edward and my great grandfather, Edward J. Martz in the lower right. Alfred, Oscar and Louis all worked at the brewery.
